Qured has expanded its service and extended its offering thanks to support and demand. The service, which is leading the way in private and immediate face-to-face doctor appointments, experienced major growth in its first nine months. During that growth, Qured received more than £1.4m in 2017 following a crowd-funding campaign, with support from 555 investors keen to be involved in an approach to primary healthcare, including its Board Member, Dan Warne, Deliveroo’s UK and IE Managing Director.

The modern, digital-focused business is paving the way for an affordable, flexible alternative to a stretched NHS, and has announced its expansion to double its current area of service to include most of Greater London.

Commenting on the recent expansion Alex Templeton, Co-founder of Qured, said: “We’re delighted to have the support and demand that allows us to expand our service to the population of Greater London. To be able to do this within a year of operation fills us with optimism for the future and being able to offer care that is not only prompt and convenient, but more comfortable for the patient, for some time to come. It reinforces our belief that there is a heightened demand for an affordable and convenient healthcare service which works around people’s lives, offering easier, quicker and hassle-free access to primary healthcare.”

Alongside this geographic expansion, Qured has extended its offering to now include physiotherapy in response to patient feedback.

Discussing the introduction of physiotherapy to the healthcare platform, Trudy Wood, Senior Physiotherapist BSc MCSP and Head of Physiotherapy at Qured, explains: “There is a real demand and need for patients to receive muscular-skeletal therapy in their homes, rather than forcing them to traipse to and from a physiotherapy clinic, potentially exacerbating the complaint. By adding combined manual and rehabilitation physiotherapy to our healthcare offering, we now provide a more holistic service to our patients, from both a consumer and corporate point of view.”
