Next-gen scalable ARM module

A new Minimodule has been released by TQ. With the embedded module TQMa57xx, the processor family AM57xx is used with the basis of a Cortex A15 by Texas Instruments. TQ can continue to support its customers with innovative products in the ARM area with the systematic selection of future-oriented technology. A Cortex A15 Core with up to 2x 1.5GHz is planned on the TQMa57xx module.

Next-gen modules offer high graphic performance

At embedded world 2017, TQ presented its module concepts based on the i.MX8 series of CPUs. The i.MX8 CPUs, based on three different Cortex Axx architectures with differing market orientations, already show the promise of trend-setting solutions. The individual CPU versions have differing specifications and support CAN FD, USB 3.0 and audio. In addition, they exhibit high graphical performance (4K video, 3D graphics).

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly checkups have been offered by the TQ-Group to customers and other interested parties. The checkup examines all components in the product with regard to their future availability. A mini-module based on the QorIQ LS102xA Layerscape processor range from NXP Semiconductors has been introduced by TQ. Embedded mini-modules achieve low power dissipation

Two mini-modules which use the CPU architecture ARM Cortex-A7 have been developed by TQ, the TQMa7x and TQMa6ULx. Compact modular platform to support Intel-based applications

With MSys, TQ is presenting an extremely compact and modular platform for Intel-based embedded PC applications and gateways. With outer dimensions of only 10x10 cm², the hardware kit can be easily integrated into cost-effective 100 mm standard housing solutions. The four attachment points are defined to conform to the embedded NUC standard (SGeT, SDT.03). This extends the combination area to the complete eNUC-Eco system.

Energy-efficient modules come with latest CPU technology

With the TQMa7x and TQMa6ULx, TQ is planning two minimodules in which the new ARM Cortex-A7 processor architecture is used. Through the targeted selection of the technology, TQ is creating a forward-looking basis in order to continue supporting its customers with innovative products in the ARM sector. A performance-optimised ARM Cortex-A7 Core with up to 1GHz will be used on the TQMa7x embedded computing module. This is based on the i.MX7 by NXP.
